SCHRITTE
Schritte was designed for HS and adult students. This is a textbook/workbook combination containing both lessons and exercises, and is comprised of six volumes with 60 hours per level. The goal is an immediate immersion of the students into everyday situations, followed by numerous comprehension and communication activities. Inter-cultural, interesting reading and listening stories are presented in a game format in each lesson. The book is accompanied by a CD which includes recordings of all exercises demanding pronunciation training. Upon completion, learners will have finished all the requirements for Start Deutsch 1
und 2 and Zertifikat Deutsch examinations.

OPTIMAL
The first of its kind, Optimal focuses equally on the three major German speaking countries: Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Based on CEFR and ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines, beginning adult students will learn functional patterns while improving reading, writing, listening and reading. Textbooks consist of 12 chapters divided into units on cultural topics, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, practice and review. ASPEKTE
A new series for the intermediate/advanced German student, Aspekte is a DVD-based textbook series. The DVDs feature clips from German TV, and will help your students improve vocabulary through conversations in properly meaningful contexts. With an emphasis on previously learned material, each of the 10 modules starts with photos to ease students into various cultural concepts, including Wohnwelten, Gesundheit, Kaufen und Konsum, and more. Chapters are arranged in a modular structure, allowing teachers to move through units non-sequentially. Workbooks contain additional exercises and student self-evaluations. Designed for levels B1 and up.


PASSWORT DEUTSCH
Both volumes of this communicative and activity-oriented method contain well illustrated material for at least 60 to 80 lessons. Designed for the adolescent and adult beginning students of German, it contains six chapters, including texts and exercises that help them develop oral comprehension, speaking, reading and writing skills, with emphasis on vocabulary and grammar. The accompanying CD offers audio texts and dialogs to the textbook and a student CD provides exercises to improve listening comprehension, speaking skills and pronunciation. The teacher's guide helps the instructor prepare the lessons, including tests, material to copy, transcripts and an answer key.
