Difusión Editorial

Established in 1988, Difusión is one the best-known and the most internationally recognized Spanish publishing house. Their goals have been to provide teachers and students with tools that are useful, effective and up-to-date. More than 200 titles make up their Spanish catalog ranging from Elementary School to University levels.

In recent years, Difusion has been contacted by many teachers working in a wide variety of educational settings in the US, who asked for innovative materials that respond to the new challenges of teaching Spanish in the America. The publisher spoke with teachers about learning, communication, culture, and about recognizing the value of Spanish and Hispanics in the USA. Difusion then created a line of titles specifically for the US market. The books follow the five “C” goal areas: Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities.
